HAPPY NEW YEAR
The news team and all the staff at RSGB HQ would like to wish our newsreaders, listeners and online readers a very happy New Year. We would like to remind everyone that we always welcome your news, by email, to email@example.com and the deadline is 10am sharp on Thursday mornings. The GB2RS script is usually uploaded to the RSGB website by 4.30pm each Friday afternoon.

On Wednesday, Lothians Radio Society is having a video night with Edinburgh Cine and Video Society. Members will be watching The Boat that Rocked, the 2009 film about offshore radio in the 1960s. Coffee will be served from 7pm and the screening will start at 7.30pm. firstname.lastname@example.org

MARCONI 150 YEARS YOUNG
This year marks 150 years since the birth of Guglielmo Marconi in 1874. The Cornish Radio Amateur Club will be organising International Marconi Day this year on the 27th of April. For more information and updates, visit the GB4IMD Facebook page.
