RETURN TO FORMAL MEETINGS

Kilmarnock and Loudon Amateur Radio Club, formal meetings will return on Tuesday the 12th of September.

SOLDER SMOKE

FOXY LADY

Cockenzie and Port Seton Amateur Radio Club’s second DF night of the year has been moved from the 15th of September to this coming Friday 8th of September, due to holiday arrangements. The club usually meets on the first Friday of the month for a club night in the lounge bar of the Thorntree Inn. The next meeting will be held on Friday the 6th of October. TERRY’S 73 CUBED

RadCom Extract “……….. (GM3WUX) During the week of my 73rd birthday, 2 to 8 October, I plan to walk 73 laps of a familiar loop in Glasgow’s Queens Park. Each lap will be about 1.4 miles and include at least 200 feet of ascent. So, the whole walk will be about 100 miles including over 14,000 feet of ascent. Being totally blind, I plan to do this unassisted, using my long cane. I’m doing this in honour of my best friend, Jeremy Browne, G3XZG, who died of cancer last year ………………” More information HERE .
