Up in the Kilpatrick Hills, west of Glasgow a serious leak has developed in the Club’s operating Shack. A team of volunteers had been assembled for yesterday (9th) under Ernie – GM0EZP’s directions to tackle the problem. Fortunately a day of good wx was chosen to aid in the repair.

LOCH LOMOND SUNDAY NIGHT NET – SUMMER SPECIAL
The Loch Lomond Sunday night net returns this Sunday for a summer special at 8pm. Access via echolink gateway MB7IBH and locally; RF on 145.3375 with code 103.5.

Golf Bravo Two Oscar Golf Mike. In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of SOTA in Scotland, this coming Saturday (16th), Anne GM4UXX and Jack GM4COX will operate from Tinto GM/SS-064 . They should be QRV 1200Z and operational on HF 60, 40, 20M – SSB about 30W and FM/SSB on 144/145. Battery wise they should be operational for >3hrs.
NETS & MEETINGS

The Viking Amateur Radio Net runs on Sundays from 6pm on 3.660 or 3.639MHz. Details are on their Facebook page.
Kilmarnock & Loudoun Amateur Radio Club holds a net on Sundays from 2pm around 3.720MHz SSB, later moving to around 3.540MHz at 2.30pm for a CW Net. The Tuesday evening Morse practice session with Glenrothes & District Radio Club has ceased for the Summer break. It will resume at 7.15pm on the 23rd of August on 145.425MHz FM.
