With Scottish Clubs returning to normal meeting, details of club activities can be usually be found on the individual club’s website. A summary of activities in Scotland can be found on WoSARS’s – SNIPS .

Stirling and District Amateur Radio Society is open today for operating from 11am. It will also be open on Thursday from 7pm.

Moray Firth Amateur Radio Society meets at 7:15pm on the First and Third Tuesday of each month at the Armed Forces Reserve Centre, Elgin

Lothians Radio Society meets at 8pm. on Wednesday at the Braids Hill Hotel, Edinburgh And this coming Wednesday the Club has a talk  “2022 Astrodynamics without the Mathematics – How to Fly Spacecraft” by John Cooke GM8OTI.

This coming Thursday night (10TH MARCH) will be the first anniversary of the MID-LANARK ARS (based out Newharthill) 4 METRE Net, initiated (and hosted) by Gearoid – MM6NRK on behalf of the Club.  As a consequence of Covid restrictions, over the last couple of years, many CLUB NETS were established, though none in GM on 4 Metres. If you haven’t had a chance to join Gearoid, Mid Lanark; and many WoSARS Members, and you fancy trying 4M, there are quite a collection of ex PMR (private mobile radio) radios on sale on various sites that can be converted for this band. A number of WoSARS members using such rigs. Mid Lanarkshire Amateur Radio Society meets every Friday from 7pm at Newarthill Community Education Centre, ML1 5JU.

Also this Thursday, Aberdeen Amateur Radio Society is having a talk on Thursday by Alan Duncan GM4ZUK on “The ARRL Logbook Of The World – LOTW” at 7:30 pm .

And, The Lomond Radio Club is open for in-person club nights on Thursdays from 7.30pm at the John Connelly Centre in Renton. Details from Barrie,

West of Scotland Amateur Radio Society has Solder Group meetings at Sauchiehall Street on Wednesday. On Friday (11th MARCH) there’s a club night at Rose Street with a presentation by Bill 2M0WWC about “Samuel Morse and his legacy”.

East Kilbride ARC advises that it remains closed for the time being.

Ayr Amateur Radio Group has a net on Sundays from 7pm on 144.295MHz CW and from 7.30pm on 145.450MHz FM. There are daily nets around 7.035MHz from 10.15am, moving to 7.065MHz and 145.450MHz at 10.30am.

Kingdom Amateur Radio Society has nets on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 7pm on 144.750MHz. Steve, MM0SKX, 0771 105 9343

Dundee Amateur Radio Club holds nets on Sundays and Wednesdays from 7.30pm on GB3AG and GB3DD. Martin, 2M0KAU, 0776 370 8933

Kilmarnock & Loudoun Amateur Radio Club holds a net on Sundays from 2pm around 3.720MHz SSB, later moving to around 3.540MHz CW. Tuesday sees a net on 145.475MHz from 7.30pm.

The Viking Amateur Radio Net runs on Sundays from 6pm on 3.660 or 3.639MHz. Details are on their Facebook page
